چکیده
The aim of this study was to determine the daily noise exposure levels in black tea processing factories and evaluate its effects on employees' occupational health safety. In study, sound pressure level dBA values were measured at ear employees each production unit three operating Artvin Province. These where measurements made consist withering, curling, oxidation, drying (boiler stove) classification units. units include various systems mechanisms formed by conveyors, fans, steam heaters, boilers, reducers, pallets, hoods, screens, gears, drums. performed considering ISO 9612:2009 (Acoustics Determination Occupational Noise Exposure Engineering Method) standard, a meter Type-2 class complying with requirements IEC 61672-1: 2002 used. A weighted equivalent determined using values. Considering these working times, personal calculated. It that employee range 77-87 74-83 dBA, respectively. Curling have highest (86.81 dBA) value (83.10 compared other units, while boilers lowest (76.75 (73.55 dBA). regulation protection from related risks, it concluded reached lower action (80 factories. showed work efficiency could be adversely affected factories, research results Regulations noise.

متن کاملInvestigating the Effects of Exposure to Continuous White Noise on SLC26A4 Gene Expression Levels in Male Rat Cochlea
Background and purpose: Irreversible damage to the inner ear is known as noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL). Exposure to excessive noise can affect the expression of genes in molecules involved in development of NIHL. SLC26A4 gene or PDS is responsible for causing both syndromic and non-syndromic deafness and is located at DFNB site. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression level ...
